ORBAA provides technical and professional development training events and the opportunity to enhance professional networking within Ohio’s aviation community
Training and education is a core pillar of ORBAA where our goal is to provide a cost effective means for ORBAA members to attend professional development training events and networking sessions throughout the six economic regions of Ohio. The Ohio Business Aviation Training Standdown (OBATS) is our trade name for the organization’s events.
The OBATS program originated as a grassroots event organized by volunteers throughout Ohio and the surrounding area. Since the inception of IS-BAO, organizations utilized the OBATS program to supplement their IS-BAO enrichment training needs.
The mission of OBATS is to enhance aviation safety by providing professional development and enrichment training for professionals working in business aviation. OBATS events may also serve as cost-effective and convenient means for individuals to earn credit for NBAA’s Certified Aviation Manager Program.
Why you should attend OBATS events?
The cost to attend an OBATS training event depends on several factors such as the venue and location, number of participants, and type of training conducted. Discounted rates are available for current ORBAA members and priority will be given to ORBAA members when registering.
